Course Information:
This course is an introduction to the basic principles of cave diving utilizing a single primary guideline. Introductory cave diving is the second level in the development of safe techniques for cave diving, directly building upon the cavern diver course. This introduction to cave diving is not intended to train divers for all facets of cave diving. The objective of this course is the perfection of skills taught in the cavern diving program, in addition to the adoption of additional techniques and procedures required for elementary cave dives
Course Prerequisites:
· Minimum age 18, 15 with parental consent.
· Provide proof of certification as a TDI Cavern Diver or equivalent or be currently enrolled in a TDI Cavern course.

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED:
- Tips: (Boat crew, Instructor, Dive Master)
- In- Water Training: This is a non diving speciality unless grouped with another in water course.
- Personal Gear: Scuba Quality Mask, Fins, Snorkel, Boots, Surface Marker Buoy (SMB), Dive Slate. (Take Advantage of your NEW STUDENT DISCOUNT in store)
- Gear: (BCD, Regulator Set, Wetsuit) Full Equipment list and requirements provided prior to class start
- Entry Fees: All Entry fees to dive locations.
- Transportation to Training Locations or Dive Sites
Required Equipment:
The following equipment is required for each student
- Primary cylinder(s); volume appropriate for planned dive and student gas consumption.
- Dual-orifice (Y) or (H) valve, double cylinders, or dual valve manifold.
- Two independent first and second stage regulators; one regulator equipped with a long hose.
- Submersible pressure gauge
- Buoyancy compensator device (BCD) with power inflator.
- Exposure suit adequate for diving environment.
- Mask and fins.
- Line cutting device.
- Three battery powered lights; 1 primary and 2 back-ups, each with a with burn time suitable for the planned dive time
- Two safety reels/spools with a minimum of 37 Metres/125 Feet of guideline.
- One primary reel for the team with length appropriate for intended dive.
- Computer, watch or bottom timer and depth gauge.
- Slate or wet notes with a pencil.
- Submersible dive tables or backup dive computer.
- Three directional line arrows.
