Gear Rental at Blue Spring State Park

Rent Scuba Gear at Blue Spring State Park

Booking a tour? You don't need a separate gear rental.

Scuba tour guests add any rental gear they need when booking the tour. It's all part of one reservation. Snorkel tours and Try Scuba already include all the gear you need.

This page is for certified divers who are diving Blue Spring on their own, without a tour.

See Blue Spring Tours →

Certified divers can rent scuba gear from our team at Blue Spring State Park. Pick it up from us at the spring, dive, and return it to us before you leave. Rental gear is for use at Blue Spring only.

Reservations are required for all rental equipment. No same-day rentals. Call (386) 663-8030 or email reservations@floridadivecompany.com for reservations.

To rent equipment you must have all of the following:

  • Proof of Open Water Scuba Certification or higher
  • Proof of last dive | Must be within the last 12 months

Blue Spring State Park Dive Rules

Diving on your own? The park requires every diver to follow these rules.

  • No solo diving. A dive party must have at least two divers.
  • No lights for open water divers and free divers, and no diving deeper than 60 ft.
  • No DPVs (scooters).
  • No carts, wagons or dollies. Gear up first, then carry your equipment down the boardwalk to the water's edge.
  • Dive within the limits of your certification.
  • Dive in designated areas only.
  • No more than 32 scuba divers in the water at one time.
  • Dives must be finished one hour before sunset.
  • Keep at least 50 ft from manatees. Swimming or diving with manatees is not permitted.
  • Don't disturb or remove fossils or artifacts, trample aquatic plants, or carve or deface rocks or other surfaces.
  • All divers dive at their own risk.

See the official dive rules on the Florida State Parks website →

Skip the hassle. Dive Blue Spring with us.

No buddy? No cart? No problem. Our Blue Spring scuba tours take care of everything the park rules make hard.

  • Your dive buddy is built in. Your guide is your buddy, so solo divers meet the park's no-solo rule.
  • No hauling tanks. Your air cylinder is included and waiting at our private staging area, the closest to the water entry. From there it's a short walk to the spring head.
  • Guaranteed park entry, even on days the park reaches capacity.
  • A guide who knows the spring and shows you where the fish, turtles and, in season, manatees hang out.

Group Scuba Tour $85 · Private Scuba Tour $185 (early access before the park opens to the public)

Air cylinder included with both. Add any other rental gear when you book.
