Effective April 1, 2024: In-water activities are closed while we stabilize the shoreline at Blue Spring State Park. This closure includes swimming, snorkeling, tubing, diving and paddling in the spring run and spring head. Boat tours and paddling are only allowed in the St. Johns River. Visitors are asked to adhere to all posted signs and avoid closed areas when visiting the park.

Scuba & SNORKEL TOURS at BLUE SPRING STATE PARK

Recognized as one of Florida's premier freshwater dive and snorkeling spots, Florida Dive Company proudly holds the status of being the sole approved dive and snorkel tour operator for Blue Spring State Park. This distinction ensures our divers receive guaranteed entry into the park. Our diving adventure starts with a leisurely stroll along the picturesque boardwalk to reach our private staging area dedicated to our divers. This space is equipped with diver benches, providing a convenient spot for assembling your gear, and is just a short walk from the designated entry point for divers.

Upon reaching the spring head, take in the sights and embark on a relaxed drift dive downstream. Encounter a variety of freshwater species, including Catfish, Bass, Brim, Gar, Turtles, and Manatees (wildlife sightings are not guaranteed). The consistently pleasant 72°F / 22°C water temperatures throughout the year, coupled with excellent visibility, make this diving destination ideal for divers and snorkelers of all experience levels. Additionally, the family-friendly nature of this location allows both divers and snorkelers to engage in the experience together, making it a perfect activity for families.

Jim and Mike were amazing. Great communication prior to trip (We were coming from AZ and visiting family so we had some other things going on and were on a pretty tight time-line and they were great about answering questions, explaining schedule etc.) During our 1 day discover scuba experience, we weren't exactly naturals and I really appreciate their patience and ability to keep it light and fun. They made it a really amazing experience for my 10 year old step son, staying focused on both his safety and enjoyment, which I really appreciated! He is already talking about wanting to go back :)
