Try Scuba at Blue Spring State Park
Breathe underwater for the first time in the clear 72°F water of Blue Spring State Park. Try Scuba is a private, instructor-led introduction to scuba diving. No certification or experience needed. It is SDI's Scuba Discovery program, run by Florida Dive Company, the only guided dive operator inside the park.

Both options last about 65 minutes. You choose between them when you book.
What to expect
- In the water by 7am, before the park opens. Meet us at the park's front gate by 6:30am. You'll have the spring nearly to yourselves and finish around the time general admission opens.
- Private. Just your party, up to 4 people, with your own instructor.
- All gear included.
- Guaranteed park entry. You pay only the park's standard entry fee at the gate.
Before your dive
- Minimum age 15. Guests under 18 need a parent or guardian's consent.
- You must be comfortable in the water and able to swim.
- Complete the online eLearning (about 45 minutes, at home) and a medical questionnaire before your dive date.
Season
Try Scuba runs April 1 to November 14, while Blue Spring is open for swimming. The park closes the spring in winter for the manatees, and those dates can shift with manatee numbers.
